The Pennsylvania CareerLink offices in Potter and McKean counties came together in Port Allegany to host the first multi-county Career/Resource Event.
There were 62 employers and resources converged in front of the Port Allegany Borough building. Each employer had multiple career opportunities. There was representation for a wide variety of professions including manufacturing, health care, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, skilled and unskilled labor with positions available. Veteran services were also on site. Several resources were available to provide information for child and adult education. Helping Pennsylvania CareerLinks with the Career and Resource Event were the Port Allegany Borough, The Port Allegany Moose Lodge, Coach Justin Bienkowski and the PAHS Football Team, Madden Nelson, as well as all of the participating employers and community participants. CareerLinks are looking forward to making this an annual event. They have offices in Coudersport and Bradford.
