Edward T. Morgan, 86, of Campbelltown Rd., Mt. Jewett, PA

Edward T. Morgan, 86, of Campbelltown Rd., Mt. Jewett, PA passed away Thursday (June 27) at Penn Highlands Elk. Born May 30, 1938 in Halsey, he is the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Rendosh) Morgan. On April 4, 1964, in Mt. Jewett, he married Jennifer Caldwell, who survives.
Ed owned Morgan Drilling for many years, after which he went to work and retired from the Mt. Jewett Particleboard Plant. He was a member of the Wilcox Sportsman Club, the Mt. Jewett Sportsman Club, the NRA and the Sons of the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Douglas (Jami) Morgan of Ridgway; one daughter, Jenilynn (Ronald) Whitney of Port Richey, FL; three granddaughters, Erika (Colby) Smith, India Thompson and Erin (Joseph Lewis) Morgan; one grandson, Storm Whitney; two great-granddaughters, Lexi and IvoryElla Smith; two great-grandsons, Gavin and Josiah Smith; and several nieces and nephews, including one special great-nephew, Brett Morgan of Mt. Jewett.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Joseph, John and James Morgan; two sisters, Kathryn Hasney and Ann Morgan in infancy; and two nephews, John and Mark Morgan.
Interment will be held privately at Nebo Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mt. Jewett Sporstman Club on Saturday (July 13) from Noon until 3:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Jewett Sportsman Club or St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
