Lloyd G. Swarner, Jr. age 78, of Sabinsville, PA passed away at home on Monday, June 17, 2024. Born January 30, 1946 in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of the late Lloyd G. and Dorothy M. (White) Swarner, Sr.

Lloyd served in the US Army, where he received the purple heart in the Vietnam War. He was a lifelong farmer and loved farming. He married Mary Beth Trego and they shared 43 years together until her passing on July 28, 2023.

He enjoyed going to the County Fair, socializing and having breakfast at Kim’s Country Store with the guys and was an avid Eagles fan. Most of all, he loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and spending time with family.

Lloyd is survived by his children, Michelle (Robert) Simon of Sabinsville, Cathy (Ryan) Krystoff of Westfield, Alan (Dana) Swarner of Sabinsville, Kelly Swarner of Sabinsville and Samantha (Daniel Wanner) Swarner of Sabinsville and his grandchildren, Zachary, Abigail and Lillian Krystoff, Elijah Bacon and Matthew Swarner.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Swarner and a sister, Betty Swarner.

Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield on Friday, June 21st from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 1:00 PM. Burial with Military Honors will be in Sabinsville Cemetery. www.kenyonfuneralhome.com.
