LeRoy E. Newcomb, age 69, of Knoxville, PA passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at UPMC Wellsboro.

Born March 18, 1955 in Wellsboro, he was the son of the late Lester M. and Edith M. (Graves) Newcomb. LeRoy served in the US Army and worked at Bordens / Eagle Family Foods, PennDOT and for DCNR at Hills Creek for the last ten years.

He married Jenny L. Allen and they shared 36 years together. He was a member of the Knoxville Fire Hall, Knoxville VFW and served on the Tioga County Honor Guard.

LeRoy loved woodworking, building things, working with electric and playing guitar. Most of all he loved his family and friends and loved spending time with his girls.

He is survived by his wife, Jenny; daughters, Brittany, Brandy and Tammy Newcomb; two brothers, Ralph and Judy Newcomb and Roger Newcomb; sisters-in-law, Wanda and Pete Barbano and Sue and Scott Shutt; his good friends and working buddies, Mike Kauffman and Phil Whitford and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister in law, Wendy Newcomb and his in-laws, Richard and Juanita Allen.
