Richard M. Hannon, 74, a resident of Congress Street in Bradford, PA passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born in Bradford on December 11, 1949, he was the son of the late John R. and Mary  (Taylor) Hannon.

A 1967 graduate of Bradford Area High School, Rich worked at Dresser Pipeline 
Solutions in Bradford, starting in 1968 and retiring in 2012.

An enthusiastic fan of the Buffalo Bills and an avid golfer at Pine Acres Country Club, Rich was also a passionate lifelong music lover. The Beatles and Bob Dylan were among his favorites, but he enjoyed attending concerts of all kinds and sharing his extensive collection of rare albums with friends and family. He was also fond of classic movies and cherished the companionship of many dogs throughout his life.

Rich is survived by his sister, Mary “Martha” (Robert) Hoskins of Gunnison, CO, his longtime companion Shari Jacks and her daughter Ashley of Bradford, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers John Hannon, Samuel “Bud” Hannon, James Hannon, and Eugene Hannon, and his sisters Patricia “Patty” Close and Catherine “Kay” Kelley.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Rich’s Life on Sunday, June 23, 2024, in the West Branch Community Center, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
