Ronald L. Tubbs, 81, of Miramar, FL, formerly of Galeton, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in Miami, FL. 

Born February 3, 1943 in North Tonawanda, NY, he was a son of the late Paul and Eleanor (VanEtten) Tubbs.  He was a 1961 graduate of Galeton High School and earned a 4 year degree from Baptist Bible Seminary.

Ron was a Veteran having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He retired as a Financial Advisor from IBM and then later retired from Lockheed Martin. He greatly enjoyed travelling and playing the piano and keyboard.

Surviving are two nieces, Sharon (Robert) Swank, St. Louis, MO and Andrea Caracciolo, Galeton; a great nephew, Robert Swank, Washington, MO; and two great great nephews, Maxwell and Dexter Swank.

In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by his partner of 50 years, John Semcheski and two sisters, Diane Tubbs and Joanne Caracciolo.

A private family service will be held at the family’s convenience.
