Bonny E. Oaks, 86, of Bradford, PA entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

She was born on February 23, 1938 in Bradford, a daughter of the late Albert and Luella Keys Troutman.

She attended Bradford Area Schools.

On April 28, 1967 in Limestone, NY, she married Marvin W. Oaks who preceded her in death on May 29, 2006.

Bonny was an avid Bingo player and she also enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren and friends.

She is survived by five children, Daniel (Darla) Oaks of Bradford, Lori (Don) Lawson of Frewsburg, NY, Tammy (Jim) Sturdevant of Warren, Cindy Oaks of Bristol, VA and Bonny Wegemer of Bradford; one sister, Barbara Remington of Bradford and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one adopted son, Todd Oaks, one infant daughter, Wendy Jo Oaks, three brothers and one sister.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family has requested that any memorial contributions in her memory be made to the Bradford Ecumenical Home, 100 St. Francis Dr., Bradford, PA  16701.  They would also like to thank all of the caregivers from the Bradford Ecumenical Home and her special niece, Carolyn for all of the care and compassion that they have shown to her.
