Judith (Wentworth) Marble, a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt, formerly of Limestone NY, passed away March 9, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her family in Wooster OH.
Born December 20, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Blanche (Lucco) Wentworth.
Judy was a 1968 graduate of Limestone Union Free School, and a 1972 graduate of Spencer School of Nursing in Meadville.
She returned to the Bradford area and worked at Bradford Hospital and the Bradford Nursing Pavilion. In 1981, she married Dale Marble, and they moved to Ohio. She was employed at several health care facilities including Cleveland Clinic.
When Judy was old enough to help care for her younger siblings, her mother returned to work. Judy was an instrumental part of raising them. She was fondly referred to as āMama Judeā. She will be remembered for her heart-warming nature. Judyās favorite memories were spending time with her family in Ohio, Bradford, and her favorite place was Chautauqua Lake where she would sit on the dock for hours.
Surviving in addition to her husband Dale, are two children, Andrew Burke, and Allison (Mike) Marble, one granddaughter Maddie Burke, three brothers, Benjamin (Kathleen) Wentworth, John (Nancy) Wentworth, and Kevin (Ellen) Wentworth, two sisters, Suzanne (John) Smith, and Jan Hancock, and many nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, grandfather Joe Lucco, as well as many aunts and uncles.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday June 8, 2024, at 10:00 am in St. Francis Church with Fr. Jim Gutting as Celebrant.
