Minutes of the previous meeting of 5 March 2024 reviewed. Motion made by Supervisor Jeff Moyer to accept as read, 2nd by Supervisor Greg Maxson – motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS

Update on improvements of Ceres Township Building and garage door

NEW BUSINESS

Open bids for gravel to be used for the 2024 – 2025 years – Bid was awarded to IA Construction.

Building Permit from David Nease – build garage and place a double wide home. Supervisors approved.

Building Permit from Adam Jandrew – build a pole barn – Supervisors approved.

Primary election is on 23 April 2024.

Tree Trimming – will advertise for bids – tree trimimg will be done in the following places: Lower King’s Run, Powerhouse Road, Part of Church Hollow. 

Clean up days – tentatively scheduled for May 3, 4, and 5

Congratulations Letter from PSATS – Ceres Township is a member of PSATS (Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors) again this year.

Bonding of Roads – Ceres Township Roads will not be bonded until 1 May 2024.

ROADMASTER’S REPORT

Roadmaster Jeff Moyer – spread gravel on some of the dirt roads – filled several potholes – trimmed several  trees

    There are no roads bonded.

The next regular meeting will be on 7 May 2024 at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held at 12 Barbertown Road in Ceres Township.
