On Sunday, Appril 7. 2024, The Board of Directors of the Canoe Place Historical Society of Port Allegany Pennsylvania held a meeting to reorganize and rejuvenate the Society.

At this time a decision was made to streamline the slate of officers to better fit the times and a new meeting schedule was adopted.

     Following is the list of newly elected officers:

                        President – Sherry Main

                        Vice President – Ken Main

                        Secretary – Ilene Altenhein

                        Treasurer – Joel Anderson

                        Curator – Clyde Johnson

     Membership meetings will be held at 5:30 P.M. on the 3^rd Tuesday of each month at a location to be determined later.  The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 21, 2024.  The public is welcome to attend all meetings.  Cost for membership is $5.00 each individual.
