The Rotary Club of Port Allegany put “fun” in fundraising with a unique event held Saturday, April 6, at the Veterans Memorial in Port Allegany. A Night at the Races, emceed by Jason Christopher, from Acclaim Productions, LLC, featured horse races on high definition DVD. The proceeds are used by the Rotary Club to support projects throughout the year. The Rotary Club contributes to youth programs such as RYLA, the S. W. Smith Library, the Senior Center, PACS, the Recreation Authority, United Way, community events, Care for Children, and many organizations within McKean County and beyond. The club looks forward to hosting A Night at the Races, as an annual event. Pictured:
