Thomas M. Yohe, 65, of 107 State Street, Bradford, PA passed away Monday, March 25, 2024, at his residence with his devoted wife by his side.
Born on February 28, 1959, in Bradford, he was a son of the late John E. “Jack” and Shirley J. (Fields) Yohe. He was a 1977 graduate of Bradford Area High School.
On May 24, 1991, in the West Branch United Methodist Church, he married Amy S. (Pearce) Yohe, who survives.
Tom met Amy while working at Werzalit where he worked for 22 years. Together they owned and operated the Cabinetree Woodshop for 20 years. He worked at Ace Hardware and Walmart and loved assisting customers.
Tom’s children shared their favorite memories. Tate loved spending a day with dad at the woodshop covered in sawdust. Tiffany shared Tom’s avid love of the Philadelphia Eagles and their trips to games and training camps. James enjoyed the early morning paper routes with Tom, where he learned to drive Tom’s truck. Parker was proud to learn the woodworking tools and build the last cabinet with Tom. Tom umpired, ran the grill, and loaded the marching band truck all for his beloved children’s activities.
Tom’s greatest running accomplishment was competing in the 1994 Pittsburgh Marathon, posting a time of 4:31. Tom and Amy covered so many miles while running and traveling the country with lasting cherished memories.
Surviving is his wife Amy of 32 years, is one daughter, Tiffany (the late Eric) Kiser, of, Mechanicsburg, three sons, Tate Yohe, of Mechanicsburg, James Yohe, of Bradford, and Parker Yohe, of Bradford, two sisters, Debra (John) Eschrich, of Lewis Run, and Grace (Timothy) Cobb, of Bradford, one brother, Jeff (Laura) Yohe, of Chesapeake, VA, one grandson, Teijan Kiser and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother Timothy Yohe.
Family will receive friends on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main Street, where at 6:00 pm funeral services will be held with Rev. Dr. Ernie Perry, Pastor of the West Branch GMC Church officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
