Rest Area on I-80 Westbound in Clinton County Closing Temporarily
Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) alerted motorists that the Interstate 80 westbound rest area at mile marker 194 will close Tuesday, March 26, while crews make improvements to the rest area’s water treatment facility. PennDOT expects the facility to reopen Friday, March 29.
The eastbound facility will remain open during this period. PennDOT reminded drivers that the facilities at mile marker 220 and 147 will remain open.
Motorists are encouraged to “Know Before They Go” by checking conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
