Camp Burns in Sylvania Township Wednesday Night

FIREST1 : STRUCTURE FIRE – 1ST ALARM

Last evening Station 44, Station 46 (Roulette Chemical Engine #1) & Station 48 (Coudersport Vol FireDept) were dispatched to Sylvania Township for a Structure Fire reported Camp, well involved.
Chief 44-10 (J.Burgett), Capt. 44 (A.Bothell), Engine 44-2 with Chief 44-30 (S.Hostetlar), Tanker 44-5, Ambulance 44-6 with Chief 44-70 (S.Orlowski) and Rescue 44-8 with Chief 44 (J.Rooney) and Chief 44-60 (T.Orlowski) responded.
Chief 44-10 (J.Burgett) was first on scene, assuming Austin Command reporting structure unoccupied & fully involved, a pavilion also on fire, 500 gallon propane tank and motorhome in danger, live power lines down, requesting Tri-County to scene and Cameron Company 14 (Emporium Vol Fire Dept) with an Engine to cover our station.
Engine 44-2 crew arrived immediately placing multiple hose lines and hand tools into service making an exterior attack.
Tanker 44-5 arrived immediately providing water to Engine 44-2.
Ambulance 44-6 staged.
Rescue 44-8 staged, providing lighting and sent manpower forward to assist with attack.
Coudersport & Roulette units arrived, sent manpower forward to assist with attack, placed additional hose lines in service and assisted with water supply.
The fire was extinguished and crews performed an extensive overhaul.
All units were back in service and available at 01:03.
