Sarah E. Miller VanCise, 57, of Bradford, PA passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.
She was born on October 12, 1966 in Bradford, a daughter of the late Francis and Carol Sweetapple Miller.
She attended Bradford area schools and earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
On June 8, 2001 in Limestone, NY, she married Christopher M. VanCise; who survives.
Sarah enjoyed reading and camping; she especially loved spending time with her family. She was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, NASCAR; in particularly Jeff Gordon and she loved listening to Blake Shelton. She also loved her dog “George” and her cat “Bunny”.
In addition to her husband of 22 years, Christopher VanCise of Bradford she is also survived by four children, Richard Miller, Sarah (Richard) Schoonover, Amanda (Travis) Tucker-Snyder and Doug Hepfner all of Bradford; three stepchildren, Thea Vossler of Ohio, Tori (Teddy) Bryant of Bradford and Michael VanCise of Eldred; five siblings, Robert Nichols of Port Allegany, Frances (John) Kohl of Bradford, Christine (Francis Durnein) Miller of Bradford, Carol (David) Schoonover of Rixford and Francis Miller, Jr. of Bradford; twelve grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents; she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Heather Tucker; two brothers, Keith Nichols and William Miller and one sister, Mary Nichols.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. with the Rev. Ricky Price, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery.
