Managing Invasive Plants in Our Region Free Workshop McKean County Conservation District
A free workshop, “Managing Invasive Plants in Our Region,” will be held Friday, February 23rd at 9:30 AM in the Six & Kane Building, 63 North Fraley Street, Kane, PA. This workshop is intended for anyone seeking information on invasive plant updates, management techniques, and implications for birds and wildlife. Backpack sprayer calibration will also be demonstrated.
This workshop was organized by the Allegheny Plateau Invasive Plant Management Area, coordinated by the Potter, Elk and McKean County Conservation Districts. Speakers include representatives from Penn State Extension, Potter County Conservation District, and Pheasants Forever Inc.
