4-H members from Potter County competed at the 2024 Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg
Last week, eight 4-H members from Potter County competed at the 2024 Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. These members represented the Famous Wabbits and Seedsowers 4-H clubs and competed in a variety of areas, including livestock, photography, and woodworking. The Potter County 4-H program is extremely proud of their hard work and accomplishments with each of their projects this year!
Rhyatt Coffed: A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, this was his second year attending the PA Farm Show with a market swine project. He placed 6th with his 230-pound market hog in the Crossbred Division and secured a slot in the Junior Livestock Sale on January 9th.
Lucille Rutkowski-Hood: A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, this was her second year attending the PA Farm Show. She placed 11th with her Natural Colored Lamb and placed 4th with her 270 lb. market swine in the Crossbred Division. She qualified for the Junior Livestock Sale with her market swine on January 9th.
Harriet Rutkowski-Hood: A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, this was her first year attending the PA Farm Show. She placed 4th with her 261 lb. market swine in the Crossbred Division and qualified for the Junior Livestock Sale on January 9th.
Saige Amenhauser:Â A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, this was her first year attending the PA Farm Show. She placed 6th with her 247 lb. market swine in the Crossbred Division and qualified for the Junior Livestock Sale on January 9th.
Ayden Reese:Â A member of the Famous Wabbits 4-H club, Ayden has represented Potter County at the PA Farm Show for several years. He showcased several exhibits in the Family Living Department. His theater puppet placed 1st; clay sculpture, unfinished wooden accessory, acrylic painting, and small woodworking piece placed 2nd; and pet grooming bag placed 3rd
Brielle Brooks:Â A member of the Seedsowers 4-H club, Brielle has represented Potter County at the PA Farm Show for several years. She showcased several exhibits in the Family Living Department. Her crocheted blanket received 2nd and crafted ornaments received 3rd.
Beth Brooks: A member of the Seedsowers 4-H club, Beth has represented Potter County at the PA Farm Show for several years. She showcased several exhibits in the Family Living Department. Her quilted greeting cards and photography both received 2nd place.
Braelyn Brooks: Â A member of the Seedsowers 4-H club, Braelyn has previously represented Potter County at the PA Farm Show. She showcased a stuffed horse exhibit in the Family Living Department this year which received 2nd place
