Gary C. Hickerson, 77, of Austin, PA passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at his home.  Gary was born on April 11, 1946, in Patterson, NJ, the son of the late Samuel and Eleanor (Smith) Hickerson.

Gary was an Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.  He worked many years as a security guard for a mall in New Jersey. 

Gary is survived by a daughter, Cindy Cooper of Galloway, NJ; a brother, Chuck (Linda) Hickerson of Buena, NJ; a sister, Nancy (Charles) Smyth of Coudersport; and a sister-in-law, Bernadine Hickerson of Austin. 

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura and a brother, Samuel.

In keeping with Gary’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
