Chrystal L. Burgeson, 70, of 182 Horner Rd., Wilcox, PA passed away early Monday morning, January 8, 2024, at UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA following a brief illness.

She was born in Kane, PA on January 6, 1954, a daughter to the late Merle and Norma Akers Peters. On December 31, 2001, in Johnsonburg, she married Todd D. Burgeson, and he survives. 

Growing up in Kane, Chrystal was a 1972 graduate of Kane High School. She loved to stay at home with her family and dogs and play games on her computer.

Chrystal loved to care for others and had been a CNA at several nursing homes in the area, retiring from Highland View Health Care in 2013.

In addition to her husband Todd at home, Chrystal is survived by her children Lance Brown (Susan) of Ardmore, OK, Nicole Brown and her companion Jess  of Bradford, Matthew Brown of Bradford, Laura Fiske (Scott) of Edinboro, Robert Burgeson (Andrea) of DuBois and Michael Burgeson (Christin) of Mt. Jewett and 19 grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Kelli Bartlein (Ben) of Bradford and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by brothers Richard and Darwin Peters. 

A Funeral Service for Chrystal L. Burgeson will be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg on Friday January 19, 2024, at 11 AM with Robert Johnson as celebrant. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in Wilcox Cemetery.
