Mary Lou Washabaugh, 89, formerly of Bradford, PA passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, at Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport. 

Mary Lou was born in Brookville, on February 5, 1934, she was a daughter of the late James and Arlene (Case) Himes.

She attended school in Bradford, and later graduated from the Continental Beauty School in Olean NY. She was employed as a beautician for many years. She spent her retirement in Arizona and Florida.

Surviving are five children, Robyn Kirk, of Masa, AZ, Gerald  Kleiderlein, of Bradford, Gary Kleiderlein, of Rew, Steven Washabaugh, of AZ, and Kirk Washabaugh, of Tampa, FL, six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Ernest Gerald Kleiderlein, and Stephen Washabaugh, three sisters, Betty Lee Himes, Joanne Anstett, Helen McDiarmid, two brothers, Bill Himes, Ed Himes, and one grandson, Nathan Kirk

Friends will be invited to attend a Celebration of Mary Lou’s Life at a later date.
