From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, Hamilton-Gibson Productions and Pop’s Culture Shoppe are presenting Crafting Your Wizarding Magic in the lobby at the Warehouse Theatre at 3 Central Avenue in Wellsboro.

This event is recommended for youngsters ages 6 and up and adults.

Pre-register by next Friday, Jan. 5 at hgp.booktix.com. or by calling 570-724-2079. Tickets will also be sold at the door on Jan. 12 but pre-registration is requested.

Come prepared to experience the magic with your favorite wizarding movie playing in the background. Here’s a hint as to which film it is: Say “Harry” or “Potter” but not together. 

At this fun-filled event, make your very own wand. The cost is $5 per person and includes all materials needed to create a wand.

There will be Butterbeer to drink for $3 per cup. Butterbeer is a cream soda with butterscotch and whipped cream. Those familiar with the books and films about the boy with round glasses and a scar on his forehead know that Butterbeer is a staple there, as well as in the show.

This event is one of many promotions for the upcoming HG production of “Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic” to be given in August 2024 during the Annual Wellsboro Comic Con presented by Pop’s Culture Shoppe. The play was written by Matt Cox.
