Bradford Area United Way Campaigns Heating Up
November 28, 2023 — The United Way of the Bradford Area is making a final call to action as it enters the last month of its “Stronger Together, Building a Better Community” fundraising campaign. With just nearly 30 days remaining, the organization is urging the community to unite and contribute to creating a positive impact on the region.
The campaign, themed “Stronger Together, Building a Better Community,” emphasizes the collective strength of community members working towards a common goal. Funds raised during this campaign are crucial for supporting local initiatives that address education, health, and financial stability.
“We believe in the power of unity to build a better community for all,” said Sarah Lonzi, Executive Director for the United Way of the Bradford Area. “As we approach the final month, we encourage everyone to be a part of this effort and contribute to the well-being of our community.”
Contributions to the campaign can be made through one-time donations, monthly pledges, or workplace giving programs if applicable. The Campaign Team, Staff and Board of the Directors of the United Way of the Bradford Area, Inc. are proud of the work that has been done. “We are grateful for the support we’ve received thus far and believe that together, we can continue to make a lasting difference in Bradford,” added Lonzi. The current standing of each campaign is as follows; Bradford 34%, Smethport 15% and Port Allegany 50%; there is still much work to be done. Please help your community reach their goal to ensure our partner agencies will be able to continue their tremendous work in the coming year.
