Dale E. Clark, 52, of 7188 Park Ave., Friendship, NY passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Golf Coast Medical Center, Ft. Myers Florida after a brief battle with cancer.
Born on December 28, 1970, in Cuba, he was a son of Edwin M. and Eleanor “Ellie” C. Boris Clark. In 1990, he met the former Holly E. Chamberlain and they spent the last 32 years raising a family and enjoying the life they built together.
Dale was a graduate of Friendship Central Schools Class of 1990. At a young age, he worked at Val-Dale Farms. He also worked as the used car manager for Team Chevrolet in Olean and Shults Auto Group in Bradford. He was currently the owner of Clarks Auto Sales in Friendship.
In 2022, After Hurricane Ian devasted parts of Florida he was offered a job as a Field Supervisor with Tetra Tech Inc. He was involved in the cleanup of Ft. Myers Beach, the Barrier Islands, Lovers Key Beach State Park in Cape Coral and numerous other waterways.
He was a car enthusiast, enjoyed being outdoors, landscaping, and most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a member and fire chief of the Friendship Fire Department, the Allegany County Fireman’s Association, and a social member of the Friendship American Legion Post 1168.

He was predeceased by his father Edwin M. Clark on August 27, 2013.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at which time a funeral service will be held. The Rev. Marc Chamberlain, Dale’s brother-in-law, will officiate.
