Joyce R. Hung, 65, of Bath, NY passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at her home following an extended illness. 

She was born January 16, 1958, in Jersey City, NJ to Lester A. and Susan (Parisi) Berger.  She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii with a BA in Political Science, and after her children were born, she focused on raising them.

Joyce is survived by her two sons:  Louis Hung of Honolulu, HI, and Andrew (Danielle) Hung of Portland, OR; two grandchildren:  Ajax and Apollo Hung of Portland, OR; four sisters:  Geraldine Papalii of Honolulu, Sophie Mataafa of Lahaina Maui, Nora Roehr of Shingle Springs, CA, and Kathleen Gambetta of Corpus Christi, TX; four brothers:  Louis Berger (Allison) of Painted Post, NY, Herman Berger of Honolulu, Robert Berger of Campbell, NY, and James Berger of Oakmont, PA; and thirty nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister:  Anna Spagnola, and a brother:  Albert Berger.

In accordance with her wishes, arrangements are entrusted to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
