UPDATE: Bill has been found and is home safe.

At 3:12 PM on Wednesday, Elkland Search & Rescue has been dispatched to the Owl’s Nest area of Highland Township.

Pennsylvania State Police in Lewis Run are actively searching for a missing and endangered 86-year-old, white male who is believed to be in Elk County in the “State Games Lands 28.” 

They found his truck in Owls Nest and searching now

William Drake went missing from his home sometime Tuesday afternoon. He left a note for his wife that he would be hunting. Drake did not indicate the location where he would be hunting. He has no cellphone and has early stages of Dementia.
