Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that B&P Railroad will close Route 3002 (Main Street) in Ridgway Borough on Friday, November 10, to improve one of their railroad crossings.

While this work occurs, traffic will be detoured onto Route 948 and then take Route 4002 (Evergreen Drive) and Route 4001 (Grant Road) back to Main Street. PennDOT urges drivers to anticipate delays and to build extra time into their travel schedules while this work takes place.

PennDOT anticipates this detour remaining in place through Tuesday, November 14, but all work is weather dependent.

PennDOT reminds motorists to use caution near the work zone, remain alert for railroad operators and equipment, approach railroad crossings carefully, and “always expect a train.”
