Library Photo Fundraiser: It is that time of year again! Come to the library and have your holiday photos taken on Saturday, Nov. 4th, and Sunday, Nov. 5th. The sitting fee is $20.00 and you will receive one 5×7 photo. After the first session, you will be contacted to come back to the library to review your photos and purchase any additional packages. “Daycare” Story Hour: The library will have a story hour on Friday mornings from 10:00 am – 10:30 am for any children aged 3-5. Please call or stop in at the library if you plan on attending so we can plan accordingly for a craft/game after the story. 814-697-6691.
“The French Connection” Program: David Castano presents “The French Connection.” The Oswayo Valley from Ceres to Shinglehouse was influenced by France’s political and economic upheavals from the French and Indian Wars through the Napoleonic Era. Learn about “The Wild Geese,” The Man in the Shinglehouse,” The Little Slave Boy,” “The Swiss Drummer Boy,” and “The French Investor.” Tuesday, October 17th, at 5:30 pm. Noah’s Ark Halloween Workshop: Join us at the library on Tuesday, October 17th, at 5:30 pm and build your own Halloween stuffed animal. Medicaid Open Enrollment: The Potter County Human Resources Office will be at the library on Tuesday, October 24th, and Tuesday, November 21st from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Stop in with any questions you may have.
The Book Discussion Group meets at the library on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. The date for this month is October 12th. All are invited to participate. Books are provided by the Potter-Tioga Library System.
Stitch Together: Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting, needlework, and chatting while you work? (Or chatting and not getting much of your project done?) Join us with your current projects on Thursday, October 5th and 19th, Saturday, October 14th and 28th from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
