Kathleen L. Frost, age 77, of Elkland, PA passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at her home. 

Born July 15, 1946 in Corning, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Elouise (Smith) Shannon, Sr. 

Kathleen graduated from Bradford High School and attended Corning Community College.  She enjoyed square dancing in her younger years, gardening, bird watching, cake decorating and scratch-off tickets.  She was a supporter of the Parkhurst Presbyterian Church in Elkland. 

Kathleen is survived by her children, Carrie (Jim) Southard and Shawn (Alycia) Kilburn of Elkland; grandchildren, Miranda (Chad) Taft, Dakota (Caytlin) Southard, Derek (Bridget) Southard, Ariane Kilburn, Cauy Kilburn, Brock Southard and Kyle (Janie) Southard; great-grandchildren, Jada (Alice), Ryleigh, Willow, Paisyn, Killian, Trey, Parker, Kian, Avalyn, Wyatt and Leland; great-great-granddaughter, Luci; her siblings, George (Darlene)  Shannon, Jr., Kevin (Angie) Shannon, Erin (Carl) Doyle and Anne Brungard and her dog buddies, Ruby, Bodie and Marius. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. Frost. 

Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Tuesday, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held immediately following at 2:00 PM with Pastor Michael Denelsbeck officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  www.kenyonfuneralhome.com.
