John “Chuck” Charles Miller Sr., 74, of Coudersport PA, died unexpectedly on November 5, 2022.
Chuck was born on January 5, 1948, to Rev. John A. Miller and Ann Miller in Hoboken NJ.
Chuck worked at Kennametal in Latrobe PA for 22 years. He was a city councilman and a volunteer fireman for Ligonier PA borough. He raised his family of 3 children Chuck, Chrisie, and Michael in Ligonier.
He retired to Coudersport and loved the area where he raised his 4th child, Jesse. Those who loved Chuck, know the man who loved his kids, siblings, and his dogs and animals. He loved to hunt and fish. He could build and fix anything, He was a “Jack of all Trades”. This was his most impressive trait.
Chuck is survived by his children John C. Miller Jr., Christine A. (Sean) Barber, Michael D. (Heidi) Miller, Jesse (Nakia) Miller; four grandchildren, Hannah Miller, Mallory Miller, Cullen Barber, and Kelsey Barber; one great granddaughter, Jocelyn Small; his siblings, Deborah A. Miller, Peter D. Miller, Rebecca J. Krebsbach and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, the Rev. John A. Miller and Ann Miller.
The family prays that he can rest in peace knowing that he was loved by his family.
In keeping with Chuck’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services.
