Rose M. Bowen, 64, a resident of St. Marys, PA passed away at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 following a lengthy illness.

She was born on March 5, 1959 in Kane, PA, a daughter of the late Pete Bowen and Marie Morris Bowen, who survives of Highland.

Rose was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Kane High School. She worked at Burger King for a number of years. She loved sitting and watching the birds, and loved her cat, Max. She could often be found watching tv or spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by 3 children; Tiffany Hadfield of St. Marys, Nichole (Patrick Steele) Hadfield of St. Marys, and Chris (Kira Reed) Hadfield of Treasure Lake; and by seven grandchildren; Alicia, Austin, Mia, Niko, Little Chris, Isabella, and Ryanne. She is also survived by numerous siblings, including Betty (Roy) Stillman of Kane, by numerous nieces and nephews, and by the father of her children; Donald Hadfield of Erie.

In addition to her father, Rose was preceded in death by a brother and one sibling in infancy.
