Jacob “Jake” McCloskey, 32, of Jo Jo Road in Kane, PA
Jacob “Jake” McCloskey, 32, of Jo Jo Road in Kane, PA passed away Sunday evening (Nov 6) at his residence.
He was born on Dec. 18, 1989 in St. Marys, the son of James McCloskey and Jackie Johnson.
Jake was a jack of many trades and had worked as a sushi chef in Pittsburgh and at Table 105 in Kane. He had a passion for art of all forms and showed his love by often sharing and gifting his unique creations. Jake was very musically talented and had played in several bands. He loved photography and enjoyed spending time admiring and capturing images while being one with nature.
To know Jake was to love Jake. He lit up a room when he entered it and left everyone in it happier in his presence. He could make the darkest days bright and the dullest days fun. He was truly an extraordinary human, whom without judgement would always offer a helping hand to anyone in need. The world will never be the same without him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Angie (Paul) Hultman of Kane; a niece Lilly Hultman and a nephew Chase Hultman; and his dog Loki.
He was preceded in death by his identical twin brother Elijah “Eli” McCloskey, with whom he shared a unique and special bond.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be announced.
