James William Rea Paup of Fruitland Park, FL (formerly of Kane, PA) passed away Friday June 9, 2023 at the age of 88, having been born on February 24, 1935.

He was the son of the late Harry R. Paup and Ruth L. Lindblade, formerly of Kane, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife Thora Lynne Lehman (married February 9, 1957), as well as his infant sister, Barbara Ann Paup and his daughter, Jody Rea Hogan.

He is survived by his brother John F. (Chris) Paup, of Kane, PA and Wilmington, NC as well as his loving daughters Polly (John) Park Jr. of TN, Jamie Huntsman of MN, Kelly (Paul) Warner of TN and Sherry (Randall) Shappard of FL. Mr. Paup was also the proud grandfather of his 10 grandchildren; John (Jay) Park III, Sarah Park Wunderlich, Brian Huntsman, Brandy Rea Berry, James Michael Hogan, Aaron Hogan, Brandon Warner, Colleen Warner, Marc Shappard and Kristen Nash, as well as 2 great-granddaughters Emily Park and Linnea Huntsman along with many nieces and nephews and also his wife’s sister Virginia “Lou” Lehman and brother Jon E. (Gale) Lehman.

At the time of his passing, Mr. Paup was proud to have been the 2nd oldest and the 2nd longest lifetime member of Kane B.P.O.E., Elks Lodge #329.

At the wishes of the deceased there will be no service however, he will be laid to rest at Mount Tabor Cemetery in Kane, PA.
