Glenn Robinson, 69, of Haines St. in Kane, PA
Glenn Robinson, 69, of Haines St. in Kane, PA passed away on Friday (May 19) at UPMC-Hamot. He was born in Kane on July 13, 1953, the son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Eck) Robinson.
Mr. Robinson served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves for many years and was a pump station foreman. He was called to active duty for Operation Desert Storm. He was a member of Lt. Raymond A. Nicolas American Legion Post #250, the Kane VFW Lodge #1132, the Kane Elks Lodge #329 and the Kane Senior Center.
He is survived by two sons, Glenn (Jessica) Robinson II of Reynoldsville and Blake Robinson of White, GA; four sisters, Vicky Cline of Belmont, NY, Joyce Nelson and Sandy Lehman both of Kane and Donna Smith of NM; his girlfriend, Brandie Shugars of Kane and her daughter Selena (Richard Brazell) Shugars, also of Kane and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation which will take place at the Cummings Funeral Home on Friday (May 26) from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
