Sandra J. Morris, “Sandy”, 83, formerly of Kane, PA, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 13, 2023 surrounded by loving family in Ithaca, NY. She was born July 8, 1939 in Kane. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Marian Hultman, and her husband, Paul J. Morris, along with twin boys who were born prematurely and died soon after birth.

Sandy was a homemaker and raised four daughters. She worked for many years cheerfully serving the patrons of her parent’s business, The Arcade Restaurant, on Fraley St. in Kane. In addition, she put her passion for nurturing to good use as a CNA in the Kane area. Later in life, she moved to Ithaca, NY to be near two of her daughters where she enjoyed crocheting, bird watching, listening to music, reading, and visiting the local lakes and waterfalls.

Sandy is survived by four daughters, Kelly Morris (David Shalloway) of Danby, NY; Kim Hyde of Winter Haven, FL; Kathy Bagian (the late Robert) of Dillsburg, PA; and Kristine Morris (Ronnie Rosser) of Ithaca, NY. She has left four grandchildren, Sara Weaver (Dan) of Tallahassee, FL; Philip Bagian of Anchorage, AK; Lauren Dederer (Ross) of McDonald, PA; Phoebe Shalloway of Los Angeles, CA; and three great-grandchildren: Ella, Isabella and Danny Weaver of Tallahassee, Fl.

Sandy is also survived by one brother, Bruce Hultman (Roberta) of Ebensburg, PA; one niece, Jennifer DiDonato (Jim) and their children, Isabella and Pasquale; two nephews, Judd Hultman (Heather) and their children Seth and Sam; and Justin Hultman (Elizabeth Morris) and their son Forest.

Sandy will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family, friends, and devoted caregivers (who helped to care for her over the past few years after she suffered a debilitating stroke).

There will be a private, family graveside burial and service at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Kane, PA.
