William H. O’Donnell, Jr., 82, of 135 Goetz Drive, St. Marys, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Pinecrest Manor following a brief illness.

He was born November 17, 1940 in Pottsville, PA, son of the late Helen Casari and William H. O’Donnell, Sr.  He graduated with a degree in sheet metal in 1960 from Bok Vocational High School in Philadelphia.  William moved to St. Marys in 1992 and worked as a carpenter for N&S Contracting, where he retired.

On November 18, 1961, in Philadelphia, William married the late Margaret “Peggy” S. Kearney, who preceded him in death on October 21, 2021.

He is survived by his daughter, Maureen Miller and her husband LeRoy of St. Marys; his son, William H. O’Donnell, III and his fiancé Mary John of St. Marys; three grandchildren: Mark Anderson, Abby Bradford, and Jacquelyn Hoisington; three great-grandchildren; and his two brothers: Frank O’Donnell and his wife Cookie of West Chester, PA and Mike O’Donnell and his wife Connie of Garnet Valley, PA.

William loved to be in the woods especially when he was hunting.  He collected and built model trains.  He loved his family and will be missed.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral and committal services will be held privately with the family.
