Mary “Marie” Pasi, 96, of Pinecrest Manor, and formerly of 114 Poplar Road, St. Marys, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Pinecrest Manor with her family by her side.
She was born July 6, 1926 in Frankfurt, Germany daughter of the late Franz and Hedwig Grosslein Hess. She was a resident of St. Marys since 1950 after marrying Silvio Pasi in the Holy Cross Church in Brandy Camp on October 18, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1986.
Mary is survived by her three loving sons: Francis A. (Pam) Pasi, Victor J. Pasi, and Mark S. Pasi, all of St. Marys; her two grandchildren, David A. Pasi (Darlene) of Chambersburg and Matthew T. Pasi of St. Marys; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jack Pasi; and by her little dog friend, Spike.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by a sister in infancy.
Mary was a member of the Queen of the World Church and the Rosary Altar Society. She loved to travel, taking her sons on several trips to Germany to see her parents, venturing to Alaska, and traveling all over the United States. She will forever be remembered as a loving and generous mother.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Monday, April 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made in memory of Mary Pasi to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to the Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857.
