Duane A. Tarr, 88, of Bradford, PA passed away, April 4, 2023, at the Bradford Manor. 

Born on September 23, 1934, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Norman Ellsworth and Laura Claire (Field) Tarr.

He was a graduate from Brantford Collegate College in Ontario.

On March 18, 1957, in Arlington, VA, he married Mary Joanna (Mesler) Tarr, who preceded him in death on May 7, 1976.

He was a member of the Church of the Ascension. 

Duane worked as a window display designer in CA, AZ, and DC from 1954 to 1971. He was a self-employed furniture refinisher in Gifford from 1972 to 1989 and was a Long-Distance Driver for J.B. Hunt from 1990 to 1995.  He also did volunteer work at Sena Kean Manor and for individuals in the community.

Surviving is one niece, Lesley Woodhouse.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Hyde, and one brother, Norman Tarr.

Private services and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
