June Catherine Adams, 91, of 521 Hyde Avenue, Ridgway, PA passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Pinecrest Manor.

She was born June 28, 1931, in Irvington, NJ, daughter of the late Alfred and Alice Merdinger Nagel.  She was raised in Chester, NJ and had been a resident of the area since 2002. 

In 1978, June remarried Mike Adams, who preceded her in death in 2002.

June is survived by her daughter, Nancy Voss-Coleman (Barry) of Swannanoa, NC; two sons, Craig Donald Voss of Concord, NC and Todd Voss (Siobhan) of Ridgway; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and by her sister, Lois Entwisle of Durham, NC.

June saw much of the world.  She spent her summers in Boothbay, Maine for a number of years where she served as the Director of Volunteers for the Boothbay Harbor Hospital and started the Progressive Gourmet Dinner Club.  An avid gardener, June was a member of the Boothbay Harbor Garden Club for 20 years.  During the winters, she spent her time in Punta Gorda, FL, where she was an avid golfer and taught arts and crafts.

For one year June lived in Tehran, Iran while working for American Bell International and spent time traveling the Middle East and Europe.  After her husband passed in 2002, she lived in Florida and Kersey, and in 2016 she moved to Ridgway.  She was a member of the Fox Township Senior Center and enjoyed spending her time painting and doing crafts, which was her greatest pleasure.  She deeply loved and adored her family and friends and treasured her time spent with them.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral and committal services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester, NJ.
