Juanita B. Kinney, 95, of Smethport, passed away Wednesday (October 28, 2026) at Amaryllis Nursing and Rehabilitation, Smethport.

She was born February 24, 1931 in Quincy, MA, the daughter of Clyde B. and Beulah (Church) Bradshaw.

On October 4, 1947, in Quincy, MA, she married Elmer R. Kinney, Jr., who preceded her in death.

Juanita worked at the McKean County Courthouse for many years as the operator/receptionist.

She is survived by:

two daughters: Shirley Birch of Smethport and Darlene (Chuck) Mosley of Cyclone

three grandchildren: Scott Sanderson, Lori Cole and Jonathan Sanderson

seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren

and several nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Kristine Lee.

There will be no visitation. Services will be held privately by the family. Burial will be in Bridgeview Cemetery, Mt. Jewett.
