German-American Heritage: October is German-American Heritage Month, a time to recognize the heritage of more than 41 million Americans who are of German descent. As the co-chair of the bipartisan German-American Caucus, I was pleased to introduce a bipartisan resolution reaffirming our two countries’ friendship and continued cooperation. The United States and Germany have an important alliance, one that is rooted in a shared commitment to democracy, and I look forward to strengthening this partnership for years to come.
