Kevin E. Pire, 68, of Bradford, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at his home.

He was born on October 13, 1957, in Bradford; a son of the late Leon and Betty Coval Pire.

He was a 1975 graduate of the Bradford Area High School.

On July 8, 1994, in South Carolina, he married Sharon M. Peterson, who survives.

He was employed by the Bradford Era for several years as a route driver until he retired due to health issues.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and camping.  He enjoyed going to demolition derbies, where he also drove in a couple.  He also enjoyed going on his yearly salmon fishing trips with his brothers in October.  He loved spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his wife of 32 years, Sharon Pire of Bradford, he is also survived by four children, Sasha (Daniel) Fowler of Bradford, Keith Markham of Jacksonville, FL, Misty (Bud) McKinney of Lewis Run, and Steven Bryer of Bradford; one brother, Shawn Pire of Georgia; nine grandchildren, Staysha Reynolds, Bentley Reynolds, Damien Packer, Kelsi Packer, Cameron Gallup, Witten Gallup, Mark Gallup, Jr.,  Angel Bryer, Tiffany Bryer; one great granddaughter, Ella Skaggs, and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded by one son, Kevin Pire, II; three brothers, Lonnie Pire, Robert Pire, and Richard Pire; and one sister, Betsy McCracken.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
