Susan Lingeris, age 66 of Knoxville passed away at home on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Born July 27, 1960 in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Milton and J. Lois (Smith) Taft.

She graduated from Coudersport Jr. Sr High School in 1978 and from Westminster college. Susan worked in various places until her retirement in 2002. She enjoyed doing craft things and had crocheted over 100 blankets and donated to local nursing homes, as well as many extended family baby blankets and quilts. Susan loved just sitting on her porch and watching traffic.

She is survived by brother Robert (Betsy) Taft, one niece, Emily (Chad) Gherilien, and multiple cousins. She will be buried in Riverside Cemetery next to her parents.
