James R. Shaffer, 81, of Shinglehouse, PA, formerly of Smethport, PA, passed on July 30, 2026, in Port Charlotte, FL. He is survived by a
loving wife, Janna; two children, Heather and Brad; and three siblings, Judy, Ken, and Christine.

Jim was an Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, driving bus for Coach USA and Smethport School District. Also, he loved and cared for many animals throughout his life.

A celebration of life will be held at: Myrtle Gospel Tabernacle, 1127 Rt 44, Shinglehouse, PA
