Johnsonburg, Pa.:  Bob Buriak brought the first coyote to the weigh station at the Rolfe Beagle Club in Johnsonburg on Thursday, 9/3.  After the major rain storm the previous evening, we had expected no activity at the weigh station for the first day of this 10-day hunt, but Bob prevailed. 

Bob harvested a 33.0# male coyote Thursday morning near 10:30 am after only a 20-minute stand once the rain quit and the sun just started to pop out.  Bob was hunting with a .222 rifle and was using a Lucky Duck electronic call. 

Bob is strictly a public lands hunter and was hunting Clearfield County.
