Limiting Cell Phone Use in Schools May Help Students

Banning or limiting cell phones in schools is a subject we’re hearing more and more lately. Limiting their use can help students stay focused on their schoolwork. Without constant texts, social media, games, and notifications, students may have an easier time paying attention, completing assignments, and participating in class. It can also encourage students to communicate more with their teachers and classmates.
Of course, students may need access to their phones in certain situations, such as an emergency or to communicate with their parents when necessary. However, keeping phones put away during the school day can reduce distractions and help students develop better habits. Sometimes, simply putting the phone aside can make it easier to concentrate, learn, and achieve their academic goals.
Many schools have already implemented a cell phone limit or ban. Some governtment officials are working to ban them completely. Its 8 AM how many times have you used your cell phone this morning?
