Linda P. Kellogg      “beloved sister and aunt”

OLEAN, NY—-Linda P. Kellogg, 83, a lifelong resident of Olean, passed away in her home on Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Born on Thursday, October 1, 1942 in Eldred Township, PA, she was a daughter of Karl C. and Gladys M. Pratt Kellogg.

Linda was a graduate of Portville Central High School in Portville.  She was employed at the former Westons Shopping Center.  For most of her working career, Linda was employed as a switchboard operator/receptionist at the Olean General Hospital in Olean, retiring after many years of service.

Linda enjoyed watching television.

Surviving are her brother, Gary D. Kellogg of Olean; a nephew, Jason G. Kellogg of Simpsonville, SC; two grandnephews, Dakoda Kellogg and Lucas Kellogg, both of Michigan.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by a brother, Calvin J. Kellogg.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, there will be no services.  She will be laid to rest in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Shinglehouse, PA with her beloved mother and brother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Linda’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

Linda’s brother entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/  cremation organizer/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
