BRADFORD WOMAN SENTENCED TO STATE PRISON ON CHARGES FILED BY MCKEAN COUNTY DRUG TASK FORCE AND PSP

District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that a Bradford woman was sentenced to state prison on drug charges and other crimes.
Misty MIHALKO was sentenced by the judge during a sentencing hearing held at the courthouse on August 6th to a period of incarceration in a state prison for at least 13 months to no more than 6 years and 4 months. MIHALKO was charged by McKean County Detective Kolin Strawcutter for selling crack cocaine and, on another occasion, selling crack cocaine and methamphetamine while under surveillance of the McKean County Drug Task Force.
In a separate case, she was charged by Trooper Olivia Barr with Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance. MIHALKO pled guilty to 2 counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Felony); 3 counts of Driving Under the Influence (Misdemeanor 1); and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Misdemeanor).
In addition to state prison. MIHALKO was ordered to pay restitution, lab fees, provide a DNA sample, and additional terms. The court recommended she participate in the state drug treatment program offered by the Department of Corrections.
