BRADFORD MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO VIOLATING LAW FORMERLY KNOWN AS MEGAN’S LAW (MCKEAN COUNTY

District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that a Bradford man pled guilty during a status conference held on August 18th at the courthouse to violating the law formerly known as Megan’s Law relating to registration of sexual offenders.
Joshua GREEN was charged by City of Bradford Police Officer Tyler Blair with Failing to Verify his address as required by the Sexual Offender’s Registration and Notification Act (formerly known as Megan’s Law) – a Felony of the 2nd degree.
GREEN is a person required to report to the Pennsylvania State Police with any change in his address and employment due to a prior conviction. Officer Blair learned that GREEN moved to another property and began working at a business at the same location but failed to notify the State Police of his new address and employment. 2nd Deputy District Attorney Sarah Dufresne prosecuted the case on behalf of the Commonwealth. Green will be sentenced in October.
