Travis A. Marsh “beloved son, father, and brother”
AUSTIN, PA—Travis A. Marsh, 39, of Austin, formerly of Coudersport, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Tyrone, PA.
Born on Friday, February 20, 1987 in Coudersport, he was a son of David J. Marsh and Sonya L. Henderson Marsh Allison.
Travis was a graduate of Coudersport Area High School. Travis was employed by the former Pure Carbon Company in Coudersport and has also had worked briefly as a pipeliner.
Travis will be remembered by his family and friends for the things he enjoyed and the people he cared about.
As a kid, Travis enjoyed playing baseball, skateboarding, and catching crayfish in the creek. As he got older, he continued to enjoy music, fishing, and woodworking. He also was an extremely creative person and was passionate about art.
Travis was the kind of person who would help a friend when they needed it. He cared deeply about his family, especially his daughter, whom he lovingly called his “princess”.
He also had a soft spot for animals and loved dogs and cats.
Travis will be missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him. The memories of the good times, the things he enjoyed, and the people he loved will remain with them.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Sonya; his daughter, who he idolized and was so proud of, Hailie K. Marsh of Coudersport; his brother, Joshua D. Marsh of Coudersport; his stepmother, Paula L. Marsh of Coudersport; and several aunts, uncles, and many friends.
In addition to his father who passed away on July 8, 2026, Travis was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A celebration of Travis’ life will be held on a date and place to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Travis’ name may be made to Teacher’s Pet Rescue, 19 Blackberry Lane, Coudersport, PA 16915.
Travis’ family has entrusted his care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
