Williamsport, Pa., August 11, 2026 – UPMC welcomes Brett Lewis, M.D., medical director and radiation oncologist, to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center team in Williamsport.

Dr. Lewis earned his medical degree and a doctorate in biochemistry from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, N.Y. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, N.Y., as well as a residency in radiation oncology at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. 

Most recently, Dr. Lewis served as chief and medical director of radiation oncology at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, N.J., worked with the radiation oncology department at John Theurer Cancer Center in Hackensack, N.J., and held several academic positions with Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine in Nutley, N.J.
